The Taco Bell Chihuahua,
a Doberman
and a Bulldog

are in a doggie bar having a drink

when a good-looking female Collie comes up to them and says,

So the Doberman says, "I love liver and cheese."

The Collie says, "That's not good enough."

HMM, I bet Mr. Lincoln and Mr Washington are quite mad about that!
I can just picture it.M Presidents day? What happen to my Birthday!

In Heaven some time ago:

Lincoln:
Hey George! Come here! Look they are making my birthday a National holiday Just like yours.

Washington:
Well Abe, you made the big time. You and I are the only Presidents to have a Holiday Named for their Birthday. February 12 and 22.

(These were very brave men so it was right that our country
recognize them for their deeds.)

Years go by and some shopkeeper says hey why not make money
on these guys and so the Lincoln and Washington became sale days!
The next thing that happen is we now have PRESIDENTS DAY!
most little folks don't know why we are having a Day off from school but sure are glad we are!

We are slowly losing our American Values. I was taught by my mom
Why we had these holidays. I learned my History from books not the computer; not that I am against the computer, but I just think we should slow down a little and teach our children the good and bad of America because this is ours and no one can take it away but maybe we can change for the better.

So respectfully speaking:
Happy Birthday to the "Father of our country George Washington"
Who braved Icy waters, starvation, death, to fight to give us the Freedom We have as Americans.
To "Abraham Lincoln" Who's sorrow and regret was read at
Gettysburg where the blood and bodies filled Battlefields where brother killed brother in a Civil War. He Looked over that Battlefield and gave his famous speech.
This is the real meaning and reasons why we have this Holiday.
Just to remind you to tell your youngsters before you go off to those 'sales'
